The project was designed around a District Cooling Chilled Water System, providing centralized and sustainable cooling for the entire building. Scope of Work
Al Rais Electromechanical Works L.L.C was responsible for the complete HVAC works associated with the project. Our scope included the supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and balancing of the chilled water air-conditioning system throughout the residential tower.
The HVAC solution was engineered to ensure optimum thermal comfort, efficient air distribution, and enhanced indoor air quality across residential units, common areas, corridors, and shared facilities. All installations were executed in compliance with local authority regulations, consultant specifications, and industry best practices.
Key Equipment Deployed
AC Units – Daikin
The project utilized advanced chilled water AC units from Daikin, recognized worldwide for their superior energy efficiency, reliability, and innovative cooling technologies. These units were selected to provide consistent indoor comfort while minimizing energy consumption and operational costs.
FAHU – Trosten
Fresh Air Handling Units supplied by Trosten were installed to ensure a continuous supply of treated fresh air throughout the building. The FAHU systems play a critical role in maintaining healthy indoor air quality by delivering filtered and conditioned outdoor air to occupied spaces.
Sustainability and Energy Efficiency
The implementation of a District Cooling Chilled Water System significantly enhances the building’s overall energy performance by reducing individual cooling loads and optimizing energy consumption. The combination of Daikin chilled water units and Trosten FAHUs delivers a sustainable HVAC solution that supports lower operating costs, improved system efficiency, and reduced environmental impact.
